its the 31st of december!...
how i love typing that date into my working papers today...
31/12/09...
in less than 12 hrs...
its gonna be 2010! =)
happy happy....
this year has been terrible...
although..cny isnt over yet..
but soon right.. =)
so anyway..
havent been blogging recently...
i've been kept busy with wrk, and xmas shopping...
and have also watched 2 movies... i think...
hahaha...
have had an amazing 4-5 days while my parents & mark were in china..
so....
will try and backdate posts soon...
like maybe by tis weekend... =x
hahaha..
in the new year i'll resolve to updating my blog more often!... =P
hmmm...
so the new year...
resolutions?
1. to be happy.. with what i have at present...
2. to be a better friend...
3. to get through any obstacles at wrk..
4. to have more "work life balance"... hahaha (utter crap!)
5. to be a better daughter/sister
6. to spend more tme with sunshine&sc and brg them out for walks...
7. to pass my CPA exams...
8. to blog more often! =P
thats all that i can think of...
and hopefully... to either wait for the new iphone or get a BB!...

its xmas eve...
and i'm in a bad bad mood....
just thinking abt what i'll do later in the day..
ohwell...
wrked half day...
but till abt 1.45pm i think...
was hungry....
but seems like the seniors hav no plans to leave at all..
ohwell.....
but they all went for lunch...
left me and the senior-in-charge only...
i just wanted to finish my wrk and leave....
so when i culd finally leave...
went down and had lunch at Hans...
just a quick lunch...
coz we had to rush.....
i went cityhall to meet linus...
and stupid linus was late... grrr...
went funan with linus to shop for his new HTC snap accessories...
and along the way, stopped at peninsula s.c to give wy his present.. a fossil watch..
so after shopping... took a bus hme...
had some sorta xmas party at hme with linus's friends...
coz mark frens last min fly aeroplane...
so we had too much turkey left....
anyway..
opened our xmas presents before the party...
and i got a few nice pressies... =)
prada bag and wallet frm my parents.. =)
a pair of panda earring frm mark...
and a swarovski doggie frm linus... =)
nice nice... =)
love my pressies.....
after the party..
i was feeling restless...
went online...
and found out tt wy is online....
he was suppse to be at a relative's hse....
havent had dinner... alone at hme...
i culdnt stand it...
nobody shuld be alone at xmas right?.... =x
dragged him out....
and so... met him at clarke quay...
had dinner at coffee club...
before walking to boat quay's Penny Black for a drink...
ended up hearing cheering frm the other side the river before realising that its xmas...
wth... ohwell...
hmmm....
brought our drinks and went for a walk instead of staying there..
although i wuld hav rather stayed...
so walked towards esplanade...
watched a huge grp of ppl exchanging presents...
before leaving for hme...
took a cab hme... dropped wy along the way....
tired.....

17th, thurs..
weekday..
so was just work....
had xmas cake for breakfast =)
thanks for all the 'hunting' lgxnr...
then i think we had dinner...
18th, fri...
weekday...
wrk as usual...
then had the dept's xmas party..
with a floral theme...
so my pink flowery skirt...
which is like the only flowery thing i have...
hmmm...
party was ok i guess...
it was at Halia, botanical gardens...
actually..
i culd hardly wait for it to be over... =x
although the entertainment was really funny...
hmmm....
so anyway..
shared cab with a few of my dept ppl to go hme...
19th & 20th, sat & sun
spent the weekend spending money =/
yikes!.. =/
and not a single cent was for myself..
ohwell...
on sat... went shopping with linus..
bought xmas presents...
timbuk2 bag, furla keychain, campo pens, cathay epass, fossil watch...
in fact... shopping was really easy...
easily found what i wanted...
sunday...
met up with the girls to celebrate xt's bday..
got her a charles&keith bag...
and we had breakfast at coffee bean paragon...
the life of tai-tais.. haha..
then continued shopping..
bought another fossil watch for linus..
and then felt REALLY BANKRUPT =/
coz i used every single one of the capitaland vouchers given by my co.
and nt one was used for myself =/
so anyway..went to meet wy..
and we watched Couples Retreat...
really funny la... =)
had korean dinner at the foodcourt we always go for korean de..
before going hme...
on the way hme...
found out something..
which... got me really really upset...
i think i kinda shouted in the phone =/
coz i was promised sunday... but then in the end cannt meet...
and for what?.. put me off for a day of frivolous fun?..
and then still nv pei me when free...
was really upset... =/
but it all wrked out in the end i guess...
hmmm....

so....
21st, mon...
had to meet my colleague at potong pasir..
then take a cab to downtown east for the unsealing of cashcount machines...
which took only 5mins?!..
then kinda nua-ed at the mac...
luckily there was another intern with us..
so nt tt boring?..
ended up going to watch a movie..
bodyguards&assasins...
i thought it was quite nice..
but apparently..
my colleague came out and said that it sucked..
ohwell....
so then took a cab to bedok..
waited for awhile....
sealed the machines again..
then we culd go le..
hehe... good good..
so i was hme really early.... =)
22nd...
had the CapitaLand team xmas lunch...
at Sizzling Rock...
frankly.. the food SUX.. waste money...
the steak... urgh.. even aston's is better...
so we exchanged presents...
nthng much..
got a mr bean cup... very kiddish.. =x
ohwell..
then it was back to wrk...
had to kinda OT abit..
then went newton for dinner...fish porridge! =)
stayed at serangoon for awhile after tt..
before going hme....
tired....
23rd, wed...
had to go wrk myself..
urgh... so had to wake up really early... =/
then wrk wrk wrk..
lunched alone... and i had BK...
super exp la... $6-7 for a normal meal..
grrr....
but.. its a nice place to have lunch alone..
dont feel too out of place....
had dinner at serangoon gardens..
and then had a walk ard there...
was on the way to video king...
and then... i did an about-turn and ran...
hid behind pillars..
hahahahaa... that was kinda funny actually...
scarily funny....hahaa... =x
ohwell.. but the outcome was kinda disappointing..
was actually hoping that i got caught... hmmm...
but nope apparently my hiding behind pillars worked...
so... that was sorta my week before xmas....
spent too much money =x
think i spent like at least $400-500 for xmas presents...
and thats after using the vouchers...

trying to keep my blog up to date...
hmmm..
yesterday..
or rather.. on monday night..
got a so called bad news...
and a so called good news...
which totally did not help that bad news in any way...
ohwell..
so yesterday morn..
woke up feeling not in the mood i guess...
and disappointed?...
ohwell..
thought that i had to wake up to go to wrk myself..
coz linus got to SG at 2+am..
so by the tme my parents and linus got hme was already 4+am?
so my father was telling me to go to wrk myself..
so i had to wake up early...
and then when i was abt to leave..
my father woke up and came down...
saying that he'll be going to wrk..
so i waited for him lo...
fell aslp while waiting..
yAWN!...
so anyway..
2nd day on the new job..
capitaland retail..
have to do up 7-8 entities of mostly dormant companies..
yikes!.. kept being kinda lost..
hmmm...
so for lunch..
didnt join them...
and went to cityhall instead..
met sakilah coincidently on the way to the mrt...
hmmm...
apparently nobody knew i was lunching alone..
hahaa... hmmm... =/
so i bought a xmas present at cityhall..
then rushed to finish my mcspicy plain...
before rushing back to robinson pt...
anyway..
i realised something..
lunching alone during lunch tme.. kinda sux..
i seriously admire those ppl who can just get out of the office and go for lunch alone.
or get their butt out of the hse.. and get lunch alone..
hmmm....
realised that whenever i'm eating alone...
i'll just go to a mac... hahaa.. =x
ohwell..
so.. i got one thing done on tue....
went back to wrk...
then culd leave at abt 6+pm...
got a little upset and disappointed on the way to the bus stop...
but... ohwell.....
took the bus towards serangoon..law
made a last min decision to stop..
and then change a bus to go towards kovan..
went to have 'Midnight Curry'..
its been a long tme since i've had curry rice.. =)
yum...
so after dinner..
took a long long walk hme frm there..
through the small roads...
took 40-45mins to get hme i think..
hahaa.. =x
tired..
got hme for my 2nd dinner...
hahaa.. =/
gonna get fat!..
ohwell...
today........
woke up and went for wrk as usual...
during wrk..
was still kinda trying to find my way ard..
kinda miss visa when i had huisian for company.
somebody who is on par with me and can go meet the clients together..
coz today the 2 interns... went down to get something frm the client..
without asking if i wanted to go along...and when i thought of it..
it was kinda too late ba...
ohwell...........
i like capitaland team.. they're really nice..
but kinda miss visa's jokes and huisian's company..
kinda miss the tme i had during primepartners.. even when i had a week alone..
hmmm...
so anyway..
lunched at Han's..
got a little upset on the way there..
and started blinking furiously for a min..
ohwell.... resigned?... =/
i understand the situation..
but still cant help feeling hurt, and as well as not wanting to be understanding..
hope i didnt raise my voice while in the queue.... =/
hai..........
and i 'ran'...
'ran' away at that pt of tme...
just had to get away before i say anything else..
and then pretend that all is well...
hahaa.... what else can i do?..
kick up a big fuss?... and what can that do...
it wont change the situation...

lunch was pretty quick i guess..
the queuing tme was long..
and by the tme we finish lunch..
had to go back le..
hmmm..
and i realised another thing today..
i'm still not good at face-to-face confrontations..
haha... damn... and i thought i was gettng better at tt.. =x

oh and i learnt a new term...

kinda tired actually...

had to go to my new client's place..

i was just given the files..
told which entities i had to do..
then fullstop..

they just packed up and left..

and thats only when one of the senior said i culd go..
